Straus Family Creamery

Straus is a creamery in the North Bay dairy geography, not a city shop. The company’s site says its organic milk and cream come from certified organic dairy farms in Marin and Sonoma Counties ¹. That is a producer claim about supply, useful because it ties Milk to Marin County pasture rather than to a supermarket brand.

The plant moved. Straus dates founding to 1994, calls itself the first 100% organic creamery in the United States, left Marshall after 27 years in 2021, and describes the current facility as Rohnert Park in Sonoma County ².
