Ferry Building

The Ferry Building stands at the foot of Market Street. The marketplace’s visitor page gives the address as One Ferry Building, San Francisco, California 94111 ¹. The official site describes a hall of local food merchants in a landmark the marketplace dates to 1898 ².

This is an atlas node for a market hall, not a complete tenant list. Acme Bread Company bakes here as the hall’s “village baker,” by the bakery’s own account of 2002 ³. Cowgirl Creamery once had a shop here; that shop closed in 2021. Fruit such as Strawberry is why a city market matters to Jam.
