Frog Hollow Farm

Frog Hollow is an East Bay fruit farm. The about page: a 280-acre regenerative organic farm in Brentwood, California, CCOF certified, with peaches, nectarines, cherries, apricots, plums, pluots, pears, olives, and other fruit ¹. Its public location is Brentwood, California.

Farmer Al planted the first peach trees in 1976 on 13 acres and began farming organically in 1988; the name comes from frogs in the irrigation canal ¹. The farm’s kitchen turns fruit too damaged or ripe to sell out of hand into products, alongside Bay Area farmers markets and a CSA ¹. That work connects the farm to Jam and Preserving, as well as to peach varieties.

The botanical objects are Peach, Apricot, and Plum. A San Francisco certified market where such fruit is sold is Ferry Plaza Farmers Market. The farm markets its fruit with Brix figures and “legendary” language.
